Project EMPOWER

The purpose of Project EMPOWER is to support Full-Service Community Schools for the planning, implementation, and operation of the EMPOWER model to improve the coordination, integration, accessibility, and effectiveness of services for children and families. The goal is to provide educational, social-emotional, college, and career preparation to support struggling students through research-based strategies to address the whole child and process a growth mindset. Project EMPOWER focuses on developing community schools as a core element of an equality strategy. All children and families will benefit from access to resources, opportunities, and supports to advance learning and healthy development. Our community schools model will address systemic barriers that have limited options for students and families, ensuring fair access to the support that will prepare students for future success.
