The Wilderness Education Project is a non-profit organization that works to promote K-12 school districts (along with educational cooperatives, institutions of higher education, employers, workforce agencies, and businesses) in finding active solutions and ideas for programs, resources, and opportunities for both students and educators.
WEP will promote such endeavors within local, regional, and national settings to establish advancement in frameworks that are successful.
VISION
The vision of the Wilderness Education Project is to promote education measures that will benefit all students, elevate student agency, elicit a growth mindset, and empower educators to embody strong leadership in their communities.
MISSION
The mission of the Wilderness Education Project is to develop and offer a research-based, data-informed approach to effective solutions for school districts and other educational organizations in providing a transformation in their educational systems.
